Hello!

My name is Colleen, and my cute dog is Penny. I started this blog to help anyone looking for ideas and tips to start their nomadic life in a camper travel trailer! My entire camper is decked out in Mushroom decor, and I can never get enough. I’ve traveled all around the United States and I can’t wait to share my knowledge and passion with you!

My story (so far)

Years ago, I felt drawn to a free, nomadic, and adventurous life. The people I followed seemed to be leading a life that I could only dream of. I had so many questions. Where should I even begin?

I had worked retail, customer service, food industry, and as a Vet Tech. Another passion of mine is helping animals and fostering. No matter what work or home I had, I still felt unfulfilled and restless. Again, and again I felt compelled to live a life of full time travel.

Deep down, my intuition told me..

I spent several months figuring out what to vehicle to buy, what camper, supplies, and everything else needed to start. What made the most sense for me was to work a seasonal job as a work camper. New England was somewhere I had never been, and I wanted to get out there and see it for myself. In less than a week I traveled all the way from central Texas to Northern New Hampshire! It’s an even longer story, but after summer I traveled down to Florida, Texas, Arizona, and now back in Texas for a couple weeks. Whew!

It’s been a wild ride.
